Alcohol abuse is defined as a pattern of problematic alcohol use that can have adverse effects on an individual's health, well-being, and daily life. Signs and symptoms include an individual's inability to limit alcohol intake, unsuccessful attempts to cut down on drinking, increased tolerance and severe withdrawal symptoms when consumption is reduced. The harmful use of alcohol has caused more than 200 diseases and injury conditions according to the World Health Organization.
Alcohol dependence is initially treated by entering our inpatient detoxification program. The detox process can last from 5 to 10 days depending on each individual's progress. During the detoxification, you will be medically monitored and given medication to help ease the symptoms. Once detoxification is complete, a step-down will begin into the residential treatment program which can last up to 28 days.
Opioid/Heroin/Fentanyl
Opioids consist of pain pills such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Morphine & Dilaudid as well as Heroin and Fentanyl. Opioids mimic the structure of endorphins activating the bodies receptors leading to tolerance and physiological dependence. Withdrawal symptoms depend on the length of time used as well as how much was used which can last between 3 to 10 days.

Methamphetamines
Methamphetamine also known as "crystal meth" is a powerful and highly addictive man-made stimulant. An individual who smokes or injects this drug immediately experiences an intense sensation followed by a high that may last several hours. This drug is typically smoked using glass pipes similar to pipes used to smoke crack cocaine or may also be injected into a vein.
